Silent Mode Settings

You can make alert smarter by setting Silent Region, Silent Period and Interim Silent.

How to set Silent Region (iOS)?

1. To add a Wi-Fi Silent Region.

1.1. First make sure your phone is connected to a Wi-Fi hotspot that you can trust (such as your home Wi-Fi hotspot).

1.2. On the Nut app home page, click the More button in the upper left corner.

1.3. then click on Silent Mode settings and select the Silent Region.

1.4. turn on the Silent Region(from gray to green).

1.5. click Add Silent Region and select the Wi-Fi Silent Region.

1.6. Edit the Silent Region name and click Finish.

You have finished adding Wi-Fi Silent Region, when your phone connects to this Wi-Fi hotspot, all alerts from Nut devices will be silent (except for the ringtone of Find your phone).

2. To add a location Silent Region.

2.1. on the Nut App home page, click the More button in the upper left corner.

2.2. then click on Silent Mode settings and select Silent Region.

2.3. turn on the Silent Region(from gray to green).

2.4. click Add Silent Region and select the GPS Silent Region.

2.5. select the region where you want to set the silent region(you can change the region by sliding the button at the bottom), then click Next.

2.5. Edit the Silent Region name and click Finish.

You have finished adding the location Silent Region. When your phone is in this location range, all alerts from Nut devices will be silenced at this time (except for the ringtone for Find your phone).

This feature is suitable for setting your workplace as a Silent Region.

How to set up a Silent Region(Android)?

1. First make sure your phone is connected to a Wi-Fi hotspot that you can trust (e.g. your home Wi-Fi hotspot).

2. On the Nut app home page, tap the More button in the upper left corner.

3. then click on Silent Mode settings and select the Silent Region.

4. turn on the Silent Region(from gray to green).

5. click on the Wi-Fi category and click on Settings.

6. On the Select trusted Wi-Fi page, select the name of the Wi-Fi that your phone is currently connected to, and then click Back.

You have finished adding Wi-Fi Silent Region. When your phone connects to this Wi-Fi hotspot, all alerts from Nut devices will be silenced at this time (except for the ringtone to Find your phone).

How do set up a Silent Period?

1. On the Nut app device list page, click the More button in the upper left corner.

2. then click on Silent Mode settings and select the Silent Period.

3. turn on the Silent Period(from gray to green).

4. click Add Silent Period, edit the name of the Silent Period, change the start and end time and repeat setting (valid for every day by default).

5. click Finish and Return.

You have finished adding silent period, when your phone in silent period, all Nut device alerts will be silenced at this time (except for the ringtone of Find your phone).

This feature is suitable for night time rest time, turn on this feature.

How to set Interim Silent?

1. In the Nut App home page, click the Nut you want to set Interim Silent.

2. click Interim Silent.

3. select the Interim Silent duration on the pop-up page and click OK or Done.

You have finished setting Interim Silent. From the time the setting is completed, the Nut app starts counting down the Interim Silent duration you set, and all alerts from the current Nut device will be silenced during the time period (except for the ringtone for Find your phone).

This feature is suitable if you have a short meeting and other activities temporarily.
